I’m a proud Army veteran who served 8 years—eight years of grit, growth, and a whole lot of acronyms. I was raised in Brockton, Massachusetts—hometown of boxing legend Rocky Marciano. And while the other Rocky may have been from Philly, our Rocky was the real deal.
Funny enough, Marciano and I ended up having more in common than just our zip code. We both served in the Army and were stationed at Fort Lewis. Some would call that chance I call it a full-circle moment only the Army could write.
These days, I’m based in Fort Riley, Kansas, where life has slowed down just enough for me to fall in love with fishing, early mornings, and dad jokes. I share that life with my amazing wife—who’s proudly serving—and our three energetic boys who keep things loud, messy, and meaningful.
I’m also a Christian—my faith isn’t something I wear on my sleeve, but it’s quietly shaped how I serve, work, and lead.

For me, tech wasn’t something I stumbled into — it was something I grew into. It started with gaming. I’d spend hours with my brothers playing Skyrim, Warcraft III, and World of Warcraft. But I wasn’t just playing — I was tweaking, modding, and digging into the backend of games to see what I could change, break, or improve.
I even got into jailbreaking iPhones as a teenager — not for anything malicious, but because I was fascinated by the idea of unlocking hidden features and seeing what the device could really do. I’d hack mobile games, change UI themes, and explore settings Apple didn’t want you touching. I didn’t know it at the time, but that itch to “get under the hood” was my first real step into cybersecurity.
Movies like Hackers, Tron, and The Matrix just added fuel to the fire. They made tech feel alive — like something you could bend, reshape, or defend if you understood it well enough.
Years later, when I transitioned into a 25B (IT Specialist) role in the Army, that early curiosity finally had structure. I started working with real networks, real systems, and secure environments — and everything clicked. I realized tech wasn’t just a hobby. It was a calling. And I’ve been pursuing it ever since.

Right now, I’m earning my B.S. in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance and building out my skills through hands-on labs, certifications, and personal projects.
I’ve already completed A+, Network+, and Security+, and I’m currently pushing toward CySA+ and CCNA. My goal is to break into a blue team role where I can protect systems, solve real problems, and keep learning every day.
I bring a veteran’s discipline, a builder’s mindset, and the drive to always improve. Whether it’s defending networks or diving into the next challenge — I’m all in.
